Before you ride
01. Enquiring & booking
Book this ride sends us your trip — no money moves on this website. We confirm availability personally within a day.
Nothing is booked until we’ve spoken. Once you’re happy, you pay by bank transfer.
02. Who can ride
No minimum ageLicensed riders only — there’s no minimum age.
You need a licence with a motorcycle endorsement. Visiting from abroad? Bring an international driving permit as well.
Only the contracted rider — the person named on the rental agreement — rides the bike.
03. The deposit
R20,000 per bikeA refundable deposit of R20,000 per bike, returned after the bike is inspected.
It includes a R5,000 insurance access fee — also refundable.
Traffic fines come off the deposit, plus a small admin fee.
04. Cancelling
3 days before collectionCancel more than 3 days before collection and you get a full refund.
Cancel within 3 days of collection and there’s no refund.
On the road
05. Kilometres
250 km a day250 km a day are included per bike. Beyond that it’s R2.50 a kilometre, settled at drop-off.
Rent for 7 days or more and the kilometres are unlimited.
06. Fuel
Full tank out, full tank back. If the tank isn’t full when you return the bike, a refuel fee applies.
07. Where you can ride
South AfricaSouth Africa only, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing before you ride.
08. Alcohol
No alcohol — not before you ride, and not while you ride.
09. Trackers
Every bike carries a tracker, so the family knows you’re safe.
If something goes wrong
10. Damage
Tyre, rim and impact damage is for the rider’s account.
11. If there’s an accident
Three things, in this order:

Report it to the police within 24 hours.

Never admit fault at the scene.
12. Your own insurance
Riders carry their own travel and medical insurance.
